NON-SMOKING - For the comfort of all of our guests the Valbruna Inn is entirely a smoke-free environment. All the rooms are non-smoking as well as the bar, restaurant, library and all the other common areas. Smoking is allowed only on the decks and balconies, but we kindly recommend that the cigarette butts are disposed in the appropriate containers.


ENVIRONMENT - We are committed to respecting the environment within the Valbruna Inn as well as in our valley and everywhere else in the world.
To avoid unnecessary pollution we use environment sensitive soaps and detergents and we try to limit their use. We will wash your sheets every other day and substitute the towels in your bathroom only if they are left on the floor. Please hang them on their rack if you want to help us to preserve the environment.
We also encourage all of our guests to respect nature and private properties when exploring Valbruna and the surrounding mountains.


ROOMS FURNISHINGS - We have furnished each room with antiques, rare books and precious artefacts. Please enjoy them, but handle everything with care.
A list of the contents of each room is checked out everyday and the guest will be held responsible for any missing items.


INTERNET - The Valbruna Inn is now entirely high-speed wireless, in all common areas as well as in all guest rooms; you will able to obtain the password for free access at the Inn reception. An additional computer is available in our library for all hotel guests. We kindly suggest that use of our computer in the libray is limited to 15 minutes if other guest are waiting.


BAR & RESTAURANT - All expenses from the bar and restaurant can be charged to Your room.


WELLNESS CENTER - The wellness area of the Valbruna Inn is located on the third floor underneath a high ceiling of large wooden beams; it was built and furnished with simple and linear style, great details and unusual solutions. The Finnish sauna features music-therapy with a selection of CDs ranging from classical music to sounds of nature while the relax area combines wooden lounge chairs with "sky chairs" hanging from the ceiling beams; the bar features a wide selection of fruit juices and health drinks and a chess corner with a natural stone chess set. The wellness area is open to all of our guests everyday from 3pm to 9pm. The whole area is also available for "private use", reservation required. This service might not be available during high season or it might be limited to specific times, please check with the Manager.


CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT - on the day of arrival the rooms are available from 4 p.m. We kindly request that you vacate your room by 11am on your departure day. Please ask us about our "late checkout policy", which may allow you to add a full day to your vacation!


RESERVATIONS - Your reservation will be confirmed if guaranteed by Credit Card or by a deposit equal to the daily room rate for a stay of up to a week, or a deposit equal to 3 daily room rates for a stay of a week or more. The Valbruna Inn reserves the right to require a deposit of up to 30% of the cost for the entire stay for reservations of longer periods of time. You can make your deposit by sending a personal check, money order or by wiring to the following account: Immobiliare Saisera, Bank: Credito Cooperativo Friuli, Camporosso branch - Account number 29210001719 - ABI 07085 - CAB 64290 - using the last name of the guest as reason for the money transfer.


CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations will be accepted only in writing via postal service or fax (++39-0428-660559). Cancellations received at least a month before check-in date will carry no penalty. Within a month of your arrival a penalty of 50 Euro per person will be assessed. Within a week of your arrival a penalty of 100 Euro per person will be assessed for each 1-week period of your reservations. In the 48 hours before check-in the entire deposit could be withheld as penalty and it could amount to as much as the cost of a 3-day stay per person if the reservation was made for a longer stay.


RISTORANTE DIFFUSO: We are introducing the new formula of "Ristorante Diffuso"; this formula allows our guests to enjoy each day a new restaurant in the area and experience many culinary opportunities:
a true GASTRONOMICAL VACATION! We have chosen restaurant located in Valbruna or its vicinity where you will be welcomed as friends; we will accompany you in this exciting experience by describing the menus and making all neccessary arrangments and reervations. For those who will not wish to drive we will aarange for a shuttle service avaialble at a minimal cost to reach the restaurant and come back home to the Valbruna Inn.
The cost for each meal at any of our partner restaurants is Euro 20.00 per individual meal.
Children of age 12 and under will pay directly at each restaurant.

MEALS NOT USED: If your stay includes lunch and/or dinner (half pension or full pension), you will be able to return any unused meal coupons for a credit of 20 Euro. Coupons can be returned only to the Valbruna Inn before the expiration date indicated on the coupons.


BREAKFAST - The breakfast buffet is included in the cost of the rooms. During breakfast all coffee drinks from the bar are included and unlimited. Charges may apply for special orders from the kitchen.

ROOM SERVICE: breakfast can be served in your room for an additional cost of 5 Euro per person. We kindly suggest that you request this service the previous night for best service.


VALUABLES: The Valbruna Inn will not assume any responsibility for the loss of valuables left in the rooms. Please ask the reception desk to use our safe, thank you.


PETS: Your pet friends are our friends. Please let us know the type and size of the animal travelling with you when you make your reservation so we can properly prepare. We reserve the right of not accepting certain animals at given times for the comfort of all of our guests. Please bring a blanket and/or a bed for your friend. Please be aware that animals will not be allowed in the restaurant or in some common areas. A 10 euro fee is charged for general cleaning for your entire stay. Please DO NOT have your pet friends on the beds.
