This room is named after Pensione Keil, the former name of the Inn, and dedicated to its founder, Egidio Keil, Pilot and Honor Silver Medal recipient of the Italian Air Force. The Pensione, opened in 1951, was a meeting point for locals after Sunday Mass and a destination for numerous tourists that visited Valbruna and were always attracted by the personality of Egidio and the flavorful cuisine of his wife Aurelia.
