The Jof Fuart range is the signature panorama that crowns the Saisera Valley
to the south of Valbruna. A mountain loved by Julius Kugy for its solar
appearance that resembles "
a shiny throne in the kingdom of
light and joy
.". Mt. Jof Fuart, towering over Valbruna at 2,666
m (?????ft), was first ascended in 1850 and many routes of different difficulty
now lead to the summit. "For all the mountains I have seen, nothing
equals the Julian Alps." - Julius Kugy.
