Mt. Lussari and the little village of Lussari right below the summit are jewels of incredible beauty. From Lussari the stunning view extends past the Julian Alps into several mountain ranges in Italy, Slovenia and Austria. Lussari is a sight seeing destination for hikers as well as a sacred site for pilgrims of all religions visiting the Sanctuary, built in 1360, around which the village developed.
